We live by the essence of espadrilles: timeless, natural, versatile, and comfortable shoes, perfect for a day in the sun. So after making the perfect espadrilles, we went out to create the best version of an everyday sneaker (or tennis shoe?) that could hit those same marks. So we designed our proprietary Ibiza sole with Ortholite technology for remarkable comfort and support, and chose the softest leather we could get our hands on for the same natural feel and breathability.

Our leather and suede is chrome-free and certified gold-rated by the Leather Working Group. The LWG is a non-profit membership organization responsible for the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG certified tanneries promote responsible tanning practices, reduced energy consumption, and water consumption.

Our outsoles are produced using a combination of, recycled rubber, natural rubber, vegetable oils, vegetable fibers, oatmeal, sawdust, or algae. These are better alternatives compared to traditional outsole materials such as synthetic rubber, EVA, and PVC.

Our laces are made from REPREVE, a sustainable fiber made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. In 2020, roughly 20,000 recycled bottles were used in our shoes using REPREVE.

To clean the leather upper, brush off any surface dirt with a soft brush. To clean them further, dip a cloth into a mix of mild dish soap and warm water and gently sub the area you're looking to clean. Make sure to dry them out with a dry cloth right after and leave them in a cool indoor area away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

To clean the rubber soles, follow the same technique with a dampened cloth in water and mild dish soap.
