except that Soludos is an exceptional company and they deserve to be hyped up. These are comfy, fit true to size, and are of the same, high quality as the classic heeled espadrilles for which Soludos is so well known.

One note on this particular style, Soludos will send the Noche black pair laced with linen colored laces should the wearer want to have light colored ties. I for some reason could not compute that in order to un-lace the linen colored ties, you have to twist the ends of the fabric into a point in order to push/pull them out through the little hole on the back of the heel. I ended up stretching out the fabric of the heel (this was entirely my fault) and I emailed the Soludos customer service team re: my predicament.

Their team is amazing. A representative helped sort everything via email so quickly. They are respectful, responsive and so generous with their time. I cannot recommend this company, this style, (and the Marseille), enough.

If you are on the fence, give them a shot. They really are the perfect espadrille makers.

This is my first pair of Soludos and it certainly lived up to it's reputation for high quality espadrille. Super comfortable fabric and excellent construction. Sizing is perfect. I ordered my usual size and had just the right amount of room in the toe box. Not too small, not to large. I will be ordering again. Thank you, perfection is hard to come by these days.
